Mark Armstrong
Mark Armstrong is an agricultural engineer registered with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) and the Professional Engineers and Surveyors in the State of Ohio. Mark has a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Guelph.
Mark worked construction from 1993 to 1994 before joining with Animal Environment Specialists Inc. in Columbus, Ohio where he worked until 1996. At AES, Mark provided engineering services to clients including waste management, ventilation systems design and troubleshooting, structural design, and site planning. In 1996, Mark joined Agviro Inc. and continues with the mechanical design of ventilation and heating systems as a focus on proper management of air quality.
Mark has worked on research and development projects both with the University of Guelph and separately with Agviro Inc., providing data logging and analysis in the areas of environmental control and air distribution systems. Mark was also a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Guelph from 1996 to 1998.
Mark is an active member of Professional Engineers Ontario, the Professional Engineers and Surveyors of Ohio, Canadian Society of Agricultural Engineers, American Society of Agricultural Engineers, Canadian Farm Builders Association, and Toastmasters International.
