Environmental Assesments and Certificates of Approval
Environmental Strategy – Does Your Operations Have One?
Environmental Policies are continuously being evaluated by Federal and Provincial Regulators and the results are increasing compliance requirements. With all of the changes in regulations are you prepared to evaluate your operations for compliance? Do you have confidence in your regulatory knowledge?
Environmental Assessments
Agviro will utilize an Environmental Assessments process to review current operations to identify potential compliance issues and develop due diligence programs. Regulatory and best practice reviews are completed for your specific facility and action lists are developed to address issues in a timely and strategic manner.
Within the Environmental Assessment process Agviro can develop Pollution Prevention plans for your operations. Identifying raw material changes, process technology improvements, waste minimization techniques and energy conservation will result in significant cost savings.
Certificates of Approval (CofA), Permits and Licences
Agviro can assist you in determining which regulations govern your facility’s operation and which CofA, permit or licence is required. We prepare your applications for air emissions, water source, water and wastewater treatment, and waste disposal efficiently. The initial evaluation, application preparation, and any negotiations with regulators and/or public consultation are all encompassed in our abilities.
Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
Environmental Assessments, due diligence programs, pollution prevention and obtaining the correct CofAs, permits and licences all contribute to an effective Environmental Management System. Agviro will work with your operations to determine the most effective EMS whether it be formal ISO14001 process or an in-house specialized program of Environmental Standard Operating Procedures and practices.
Environmental Training
The key factor to any successful Environmental Program is the training component. Investment of time and money to obtain the appropriate CofA, permits, licences, and Environmental Assessments will not be effective unless the practices and procedures developed from these activities are brought to your employees. Agviro can develop training programs specific to your operations as well as conduct the training to ensure you are maximizing the benefits of your Environmental Strategies.
