Beth Rhyno
Beth is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, specializing in Environmental Engineering. She earned her engineering degree from the University of Guelph, with an Environmental Major and she also has a diploma from Fanshawe College from its Environmental Technology program.
As an Associate of Agviro Inc. Beth is developing and implementing their environmental services program. Some of the tasks that have been completed for their clients include: conducting environmental assessments in processing facilities, the completion of a Greenfield project evaluation; the completion of mandatory regulatory reporting; and the completion of Certificate of Approval applications and amendments. She also completed the development and implementation of an Environmental Assessment program for the Ontario Agri-Business Association.
Prior to Agviro, Beth was employed by a major food processor, initially as the Environmental Manager of their protein supply company and then within the Corporate Engineering division as the Manager Environmental Programs. An Environmental Management system was implemented utilizing Environmental Standard Operating Procedures with associated employee training and well as regulatory relationship development. Legislative requirements as well as the monitoring of regulatory trends assisted when developing Action Items to drive operations into compliance. Other employment has also been with technology providers and within a large Municipal waste management department. Each of these positions required government liaison, procedure development to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and client-customer-community liaisons programs.
